Lippi

Lippi Doshi (she/her) is a Senior Program Officer of Program Advocacy and Communications at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, overseeing women's health, family planning, and maternal and newborn health advocacy communications. Lippi is a global health and development communications leader with over a decade of specialized experience in strategic communications, policy advocacy, and campaign design. Throughout her career, she has worked on a range of global health issues including MNCH, family planning, SRHR, gender equality, immunization, HIV/AIDS, and health security. Lippi previously served as the Senior Strategic Communications Advisor of USAID’s COVID Task Force, where held a leading communications role in the US government’s emergency response to the pandemic, supporting the delivery of COVID vaccinations around the world and the White House’s second Global COVID Summit. Before the Task Force, Lippi was the Communications Director of Women Deliver—a leading advocate for girls and women—and instrumental in the organization’s 2021 public transformation. Lippi also led communications at Women in Global Health and USAID’s Office of HIV/AIDS under PEPFAR; and served on the advocacy and communications teams of PATH, the Maternal and Child Survival Program at Jhpiego, Palladium (in New Delhi), and Sabin Vaccine Institute. In 2018, Lippi developed her own global health communications consultancy in Washington DC. Lippi is the Co-Chair of Social Media for Global Health, a 1000+ member association of professional communicators in global development, and a 2013 US Presidential Management Fellow. She holds an MSPH in International Health: Global Disease Epidemiology & Control from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BS in Public Health from George Washington University.
