Applied Knowledge Director, Fundação Maria Cecilia Souto Vidigal



Marina Fragata Chicaro has more than 10 years working with Brazilian social challenges mainly in Health, social assistance and early childhood development. Actually, she is Director in applied knowledge Department at Fundação Maria Cecilia Souto Vidigal, leading different initiatives to increase the positive impact of public policies in Early childhood development outcomes especially for those children living in extreme adversity and their families. In her professional trajectory Marina had opportunity to work in public, private and non-profit sectors, as well as in international organizations managing projects in partnership with  federal, state and municipal governments. Marina holds a degree in Law, a Master degree in management of international cooperation entities for development and social interventions at the Universidad de Oviedo, Spain (AECID fellow).
