Sang

Sang Silano will assume the role of Vice President, Institutional Giving, at the Environmental Defense Fund in late September. Until recently, she was Vice President of Foundation Partnerships at UNICEF USA, working to build partnerships with some of the world's largest institutional foundations. She has served in many capacities within the UNICEF USA, UNICEF and UN Family for the past 25 years. Her roles have included working in UNICEF USA’s global program team, UNICEF headquarters’ public sector office, UNICEF Pakistan and in the UN Secretary-General’s Office on the cholera response in Haiti.

Sang was born in Vietnam and raised in California. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in development studies from UCLA and a Master’s degree in public policy and administration from Northwestern University.
